Not a top three as I'd find that impossible, but a few absolute favourites without repeating what's already been said. Not necessarily because they were spectacular but they meant something special

I just assumed someone else had already mentioned it before me! Or it's such a belter it doesn't even need mentioning!
I'll also add Stan Lazaridis (really liked him) against Newcastle. Maybe not remembered so well but an absolute fucking screamer. Must have been from about 35-40 yards out and beat Shay Given, who was no mug, all hands down.
If it was scored by a 'name' player wearing a red shirt I am sure it would be wanked over and talked about by pundits as one of the best goals in premier league history.

I agree with El Scorchio about the Stan Lazaridis goal at Newcastle. When I saw the thread it was the 2nd one I thought of.. after sir Trev's of course. It doesn't get the recognition it deserves.
Payat's goal at Old Trafford was sublime. As soon as it it left his foot he knew it was going in. What a pity that the usual shit officiating cost us a win in that match.
